Walking some of the rail line. We ended our tour with a trip to Dr. Kendal's Passumsac Railroad.
Some pictures from our Summer 2000 New York trip!

1st Stop Cooperstown, NY but time dictated we buy our lunch and catch the train! The Cooperstown and Charlotte Valley Railroad. We watch as they run the locomotive around the train.

Their Locomotive was painted as an O & W.
Ready to go to Cooperstown. This short excursion line is operated by volunteers. The entire crew was pleasant and informative. The ride was short but enjoyable and we even had time to go back to the Hall of Fame. Although some of us stayed out side and watched some guys play a game.
Some of us got to see the inside of the cab when we got back to the station. An other view of the locomotive
Ready to go, in Utica, NY. The bus we used for our trip had 4 wheel steering. The other people at the hotel could not believe how and where we parked. We had a great time watching trains, in Utica. We had a tour of Utica Station and even the station's security guard told us stories.
We also had a tour of Matt's brewing company. Our bus driver, Tom, masquerading as one of the brewery mascotts.
